There isn’t a lot I can tell right now, but I wanted to give you all a headsup. In early November, there will be a Release Extravaganza (not just a party) organized with Bitten By Booksto celebrate Dorian going into print on Amazon.
There will be bigger gifts than I’ve ever given (and one I would love to keep). I will also be doing interviews. If we’re lucky, one of the characters may even stop by. 😉

The cose: Your undying slavery *mwahahahahahaha*
I received an email this morning from a reader who was a bit shocked and upset by the story line for Tori in vol 4: Dorian, which released last week. I wanted to say something to everyone who may be feeling the same.
First, I’m flattered that people love the characters as much as I do!!
Second, don’t be discouraged by Tori’s struggle. The story is told from LeAnne’s perspective. Being her best friend, she sees Tori’s softer and weaker side. Also, Tori is in a dark place. As is Michael. They are all going through a tough time but….
Tori will have huge life changes in Vol 5, which I’m already working on. The Tori we all love is not gone. Trust me 😉
If you haven’t read 4, go grab a copy here and chime in. I’d love to hear your thoughts, but please put spoiler alerts if you reveal details.
Well, the next installment in the serious has been turned in to the editor and will be coming soon. I can’t wait to see what you all think about who dies, who is comatose, and who is missing in the end.
The story revolves around LeAnne & Dorian, both of which are new to town. Dorian is an assassin sent to kill one of the group, and LeAnne is Tori’s childhood bestie.
There will be at least two more stories, which is perhaps more obvious in this story than the others. The next one will, as I have it planned right now, center around a heroine we have already covered. I think we need to start a message board where we can discuss this without spilling the surprises. What do you think? Would you join a message board if we set one up?
I’m now past the halfway point on the first draft of Blood & Sex, Vol. 4. The last chapter almost put me into shock Sun, when Michael did something I had zero warning on. That has left me with a sense of dead because I have an ominous feeling about the end of the story.
Rewrites will abound on this one. I am getting only the main parts now. Lesser scenes and fine details will come in the next layer. Sometimes, I am amazed by how the story reveals itself.
Im sitting at my laptop typing up editing notes. During this book Ive figured out it’s absolutely necessary for me to print and edit at least once. I need it on paper…it’s just how I roll apparently.
This book has been a slight deviation from my normal routine. The characters are drawn more from real people and situations, and it’s taken longer to develop, but I think it’s going to be better for it. LeAnne, this heroine, is not as much like me as the others. I suppose I’m growing as a writer.
Get ready for the next round, beta readers (my pretties!). The kitchen remodel put me a week behind, but I’m back on the ball again now.
