Long time, no see!
I’ve had a number of things that have kept me away including finishing a MS in Psychology and a total life overhaul. I won’t bore you with the details because, in short, I simply owe an apology to all those who’ve been so patient and checked on me repeatedly. And I am sincerely sorry for the detour. I never expected that to become so life consuming (along with all the other mess that happened).
But I’m back now just as fast as I could get back. I finished the last graduate school class last Sunday, and what a relief! The good news is, I know more than ever that my heart lies in crafting fiction (and I have some new tricks up my sleeve thanks to the psych classes). I’ve missed it and you guys dearly.
On a small side note, I also finished writing the next installment of Blood & Sex. *grins* Yes, I finally did it this week. I can’t give you the release date yet because there is some editing left to be done, but I can tell you that “Tori” is the title. (Yes, ladies and gents, she has her very own book among the guys.)
Since everything else in my life is changing, I’ve decided to add all my work to this site under all names. I’ll be adding things under both writing names here from now on and making it easier to find all of my material. I also have outlines of a few other stories drafted and ready for writing. Who’s ready for another story?

The cose: Your undying slavery *mwahahahahahaha*
Im sitting at my laptop typing up editing notes. During this book Ive figured out it’s absolutely necessary for me to print and edit at least once. I need it on paper…it’s just how I roll apparently.
This book has been a slight deviation from my normal routine. The characters are drawn more from real people and situations, and it’s taken longer to develop, but I think it’s going to be better for it. LeAnne, this heroine, is not as much like me as the others. I suppose I’m growing as a writer.
Get ready for the next round, beta readers (my pretties!). The kitchen remodel put me a week behind, but I’m back on the ball again now.
I’ve had lots of questions about the next book. Right now, it’s rolling along and I expect to be finished with the first draft this month. But you want details, right? *eyebrow wiggle*
I can honestly say that I have no flippin clue what’s happening. Oh, I did when I started out, but the characters wrestled the steering wheel away from me. Now, I know that the two main characters are both from out of town, and new to the group. One is a childhood friend of Tori. The other is an assassin sent to kill Michael.
Will Michael die? I’m not sure. I hope not. He and Tori have issues to settle, one of them being Jonas. I do know that one of the main characters is going to die other than the possible Michael.
I can also say with some certainty that Arracado and Tori will be title characters in upcoming books. He is bugging me silly as I write.
So, post a comment with your thoughts. I’m eager to hear from you.
I am so excited about today’s release. I had the honor of working with great editors, Inara Lavey and Kilt Kilpatrick, on this anthology. My incubus story, Blood & Souls, is snuggled between other great sucubi and demon stories. Here’s a summary-

Have a good Halloween?
I’m hoping today is the start of a new life to my blogging. During the last two years, Ive faced some daunting challenges, interesting hurdles, and shocking occurances. Among them have been the birth of my second child, a historic tornado outbreak here, and the deaths of eight close friends and family members. This week another life hangs in the balance as someone very close to me tried to take her own life. She is still in ICU, but we are hopeful.
Tonight, I am setting up this new Android phone and working on notes for the new Blood & Sex book. Its plot has changed over time, but this hero really has me in his greedy little grasp. In short, I love him. 🙂 He is possibly the most vivid since Jonas for me.
So, Im off to spend a little screen time with him. Goodnight!
The first quarter of 2011 has been a real rat-race. I’ve been wrapping up the first draft of a new story, the plot of Blood & Sex, Vol. 4, making plans for a new non-fiction with a top paranormal investigator, and a few short stories for ezines.
It’s been a busy time personally, too. January, I turned a year older. February, I spent fighting one illness after another in my family. Then March brought plans for my oldest child’s Sweet Sixteen, had food poisoning, and had my right hand slammed in the hall bathroom door. Now, it’s sort of yellowish, has a knot over the pinky bone behind the knuckle, hurts like heck when I bump it, and still has scabs from the cuts, but it’s much better!
So, while I’d planned to make this announcement before, I’m pleased to do it now. You all know me as Angela Cameron, my pseudonym (pen name) for grown-up stories, but my real name is on my new site that will serve as the home for my non-fiction and mainstream work at http://angelawgrace.blogspot.com/
Scoot on over to my new home-away-from-home, say “Hi”, and see the first preview of my new book “Dark Angels Revealed”, which will hit shelves May 11th. I’m curious to see your comments on this vampire non-fiction’s eye-candy. If you like Twilight, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, or any of the top vampires and dark heroes, you’ll enjoy this new book.
See you there!
