I just finished reading the next story on my TBR pile, and I’m very pleased. “The Dark Desires of the Druids: The Tryst” by Isabel Roman is exactly what the title implies, a steamy little rendezvous that is sure to have you running back for more. It’s a great thing that this is part of a series. Otherwise, reading this delightfully erotic short story would be frustrating. If this prequel is any indication of the entertainment one can expect from the novels, look forward to an entertaining tale of naughty, magical Victorians.

Blurb from the Ravenous Romance website:
“From the moment he sees her, Malcolm Wargrave, Earl of Preston wanted Raven Drake. On a secluded estate in England, he sets out to seduce the very willing miss. Though she returns his passion, she belongs to another. Will this stop their rendezvous?
Raven Drake knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. In this case, after him. Though she’s a virgin, she sees this time with Malcolm as her one chance to experience unbridled passion. And she intends to take it.
But will their tryst be enough for either of them? Or will they be caught in a web of their own making, drowning in desire?”

I just saw the trailer for New Moon and decided to post it here. I’m a little surprised by how different they made the wolf look from what’s in the story. I’ve been carefully watching the development of the Twilight saga into the movies, as well as the True Blood series, and I’m surprised by what they pick to make accurate and what they don’t. Anyway, enjoy…
I suppose bookmarks for an author as a promotional tool are a bit cliche at this point, but I caved and ordered some. I sweated the design a little, since these were the first that I’ve ever designed. It wasn’t that I didn’t know what I was doing. I do. I’ve got years of print design under my belt. But it’s just different when you design them for yourself. I bet I changed the design ten times.
Anyway, here’s what they look like. If you’d like one (or some), just check out my website for information on how to get swag.
I have a new story coming out from Cobblestone later this year. While I’ve been laid up, I’ve received the artwork.
Coming Soon from Cobblestone Press
Croco did a WONDERFUL job on it. Check it out. Feel free to use the banners and link back to this blog or my site at www.angela-cameron.com. Let me know if you do, and I’ll be glad to reciprocate!
If you’re into vampires, this is a new twist on the standard story. Raven is a vampire and the only female leader of a territory.
Female vampires aren’t complete without a mate…or so the elders think. Until Raven, no woman has managed to gain the full benefits of her power without mating with a male.
Can Raven manage to maintain her position? Or will she be forced to mate to someone she doesn’t know, just to satisfied the old guys?
I’ve been away, sick with a horrendous bout of poison ivy courtesy of my arrogance and a weed eater. I came back today to find a wonderful new review from Melissa at Dark Divas, honoring Blood & Sex, Vol. 1: Michael with four Divas!
“Angela Cameron has penned an interesting vampire story, giving quite a few new twists and turns to vampires…Overall, this story did keep me very interested and I enjoyed reading it. As I mentioned, the sensory descriptions in this book are phenomenal.”
